Samuel Boulesteix is a sculptor based in Saujon, Charente-Maritime. His artistic universe draws inspiration from comic books, pop culture, and the world of figurines. Since his first creation in 2001, he has developed a unique, highly visual style that brings to life original and expressive works.
The need
Samuel already had a personal website, but it did not showcase his work or his various series of sculptures. He needed a modern and structured site to present his creations by category, highlight his limited edition prints, and have a simple tool to update his content.
The TimActive solution
This project was led by Mathieu, our UX designer, who conducted a complete redesign of the Boulesteix website. The design was created on Adobe XD by Fabien Barral, a graphic designer who works with Mathieu. Mathieu then integrated it using Joomla 3, Bootstrap 4, and the CCK Zoo. The site showcases the works by clear categories, with elegant and immersive pages. A custom frontend management interface was developed by Mathieu to allow Samuel to easily publish his new sculptures, descriptions, photos, and slides without needing to access the technical back-office.
